Introduction
In response to the International Social Work Day http://www.ifsw.org/en/p38001263.html, many social work associations, universities and social work student organization work together to establish the organizing committee of Social Work Day in Hong Kong which would be held on 15 th April, 2008. The theme of Social Work Day is “Alter the lives of the others --- harmonious family”

The aim of Social Work Day is to increase the public’s identification with social work profession, to strengthen the role of social workers as an advocator and to enhance the professional image of social workers.
