Social Work Symposium
In recent years, the government has already carried out many family policies and services in tackling the serious and increasing family problems in Hong Kong. After all, what is the role of social workers in promoting harmonious family?

In this year, the theme of Social Work Day is “Alter the lives of the others --- harmonious family”. One of the activities is the symposium – “Bringing out the Best in Families - Reflection of Social Work Values and Position”.

The symposium would be held on 15 th April 2008 at Chiang Chen Studio, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. We are very honorable to have Mr. Mathew Cheung, Secretary for Labour & Welfare to be our guest to preside over the meeting. Also, we have invited some frontline social workers to share their experience so as to integrate both knowledge and skills throughout the symposium.
